For our 16th issue, we at the Rubbertop Review are celebrating the magnitude of Akron’s bicentennial anniversary. We are seeking art that exists in chaos; art that creates community; art that organizes and perpetuates. We want work that discusses catastrophe, rubble, and rising up. We want work that sprouts up from the ashes and blooms at night. Work that is alive and reaching through the page. We accept short fiction and nonfiction, poetry, and greyscale visual art representative of these themes.
General Submission Guidelines:
- We accept only first rights to publication
- We do accept simultaneous submission, please withdraw pieces that have been accepted elsewhere
- Please note if you have any connections to Ohio or Akron
